"This is one of the things I wasn't prepared for — the amount of unfilled time, the long parentheses of nothing" (Margaret Atwood).

“For every period of time when you exist, short or long, there is a temporal part of you that exists only then. And for any temporal parts of any objects whatsoever, there is a larger object made up of just those parts.” - John Locke
"Every time I enunciate 'I', even in my thought, an identity is assumed, and this identity is itself not simple, but a figure of a complex gathering of personal and impersonal histories, texts, discourses, beliefs, cultural assumptions, and ideological interpellations...it is not an artifact but a process." - Richard Dyer

lol when i was taking the quiz i realised i seem to have an interest in almost everythg! hahahah. only math and physics were ZZZ for me. otherwise im quite fine with nature, health, philo, politics, languages. thats why i took the quiz larrr i wanted to know which i like most (keyword is most). well okay it did give me some ideas of what i shld do in the future, & i think this is likely to be 100% accurate. kudos to whoever who created this quiz (:

mr see said during pdp that "as you grow older you will only find that responsibility gets heavier and heavier, if it goes the other way round then got something wrong alr". its true, but its a very sad truth dont you think? :[ as days pass, we can nv be back to what we once were. with each moment lived, we are a changed person, we are not the same person as we were the previous moment. so likewise, our responsibilities will only grow heavier as we age and we can never ever return to the point whr we were babies and had no cares of the world. we hv seen the world and thus we are entrusted w the responsibility in moulding it for our future generations. we shld no longer be ignorant and irresponsible, but thats not to say we cant if we choose to. so you choose.

ystd i dreamt that i had a twin, and i was v v v happy :D i think i dreamt that cos of the news that one of the used-to-be conjoined twins separated in s'pore died. when i woke up i figured that it must be extremely sad to hv known your twin and lost him/her forever. somehow i always dream about events of pple dying in the news, i think im rather affected by it :( the other time when Steve Irwin died, i dreamt twice of the incident, of myself as his wife and another time as his daughter. i could feel the sadness they probably felt and the nxt day, what was freaky was that it came out in the papers that the wife said she hasnt been able to cope with the loss. i still hv other incidents which are more personal but did not occur in the news la. as in im able to sympathise w pple in my dreams, like i'll dream of myself as someone & i'll be able to feel whatever s/he feels abt smthg, & it always turn out to be true. hmm.
